MSgt (Ret.) Brian Baker, USMC

Brian Baker was born in El Paso, Texas and joined the Marine Corps at the age of 19 as an Avionics Technician on KC-130 aircraft.  He served for 21 years in the Marine Corps and held many titles.  Brian was responsible for as many as 360 Marines and provided mentorship, training and operational mentorship to entire commands.  He served in Iraq from 2004-2005 where he managed the operational commitments of the Avionics Division of six aircraft for 24-hour flight operations to include all communication security of the aircraft.  For his tireless efforts he was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.  His thirst for diversity led him to volunteer for recruiting duty where he held many speaking engagements and was the top recruiter for a four-state region.  Brian also held command roles for training and development and career development at the highest level.  He culminated his career managing the operations and personnel of a sixty Marine division and mentorship roles for an entire command.

 

Upon leaving the Marine Corps, Brian went on to be the Operations Director for Paul Junior Designs.  He was responsible for the day to day business operations as well as managing the show schedule for Season 11 of American Chopper.  His level-headed demeanor and drive for ensuring the success of the show led to his recommendations for a certain build which guaranteed an extension to the show’s run on Discovery Channel and he was also responsible for the contracting of one of the builds that aired on the show.

 

Brian then went back into aviation working for Astronics AeroSat as a Program Manager and was quickly promoted to the Key Account Manager role.  He was directly responsible for relationships with clients on a global scale and provided an operational mindset in a sales driven company that increased productivity and implemented multiple quality assurance procedures to better the company.  While he was working for Astronics, he decided to become a business owner and entrepreneur by opening a Purely CBD location in Cedar Hill, TX.  This location is still one of the highest grossing stores among over 40 stores nationwide.

 

Realizing the potential of Purely CBD LLC and the growth of its management group, Echo Management, Brian accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer of Echo Management Group and manages all of the operational commitments of the company utilizing his 20-plus years of experience in high-tempo operations and managing people, ensuring the highest quality throughput of the organization.

 

His education and accomplishments include a Bachelors of Science in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University graduating Cum-Laude, Meritorious Service Medal, two Navy Commendation Medals, and four Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.
